Paul Maher

Paul is the owner and Managing Director of Fourcorners, one of Irelands leading importers and distributors of craft beer. A keen interest in beer led Paul to switching from a market analysis role within the telecoms industry to setting up his own beer import business. "After years spent working in the UK, I knew there was a world of beer out there that we were missing out on in Ireland". Paul has spent much of the past few years promoting the existence of craft breweries and their multitude of differing beers and beer styles to both trade and public in Ireland. "The key word we use to promote the beers we distribute is Taste. It was probably the one word that was missing from the sales and marketing approach of many of our competitors. I firmly believe that we must focus the consumers mind on the fact that the good beer will have lots of pleasant taste characteristics.
